Overview
This course is meant to enhance the practitioner’s practice by teaching clinic management and how to build a successful clinic. The intention is also to advance the availability and visibility of TCM to the public. The presentation includes motivations for entering the field of Chinese Medicine, indications of long-term care versus short-term care, a comprehensive health intake and commitment to health and patient education. Patient education focuses on explaining differences between TCM and western medicine and a graphing system, which serves as a visual tool for patients’ changes in health. General tips include location, reception and appearance of clinic, patient workshops, free consultations, marketing and speaking engagements.
